We will once again walk from Our Lady of the Assumption Church to St. Martin of Tours Church in celebration of the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi). Last year, hundreds of people from both parishes joined together as we walked with our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament – a beautiful public witness to our belief in Jesus’ True Presence in the Eucharist. Benediction will begin upon arrival at St. Martin of Tours Church. All are welcome to walk in the procession or meet at St. Martin of Tours Church for Benediction.”

St. Aidan Williston Park
Mass followed by Eucharistic Procession
Sunday, June 11 after the 10:30am Mass
Walking with the Lord we experience what the disciples did 2000 years ago as they walked with Jesus, proclaiming the Good News to the world. By this public witness of faith, the parish of St. Aidan invites people in the community to encounter the Risen Lord present in the Eucharistic Host. For those who participate in the procession, it is an opportunity not only to proclaim their faith but also to grow in their faith. The procession is, finally, an invitation to Jesus himself to be a part of our daily lives, to be immersed in the world in which we live. All are welcome to join us at 10:30 Mass on Sunday, June 11.

We will process just under a mile through a quiet neighborhood (Frost Pond, Pine Hollow area.) Mass, Exposition and Procession
Sunday, June 11 at 12:30pm
To celebrate Corpus Christi, we will expose the Eucharist after the 12:30 p.m. Mass and carry it in solemn procession out of the church, to an outdoor altar, there to bless our parish and our village. We invite our parishioners to take part in this traditional devotion by attending the 12:30 Mass next Sunday and walking in procession, as we carry the Blessed Sacrament out of the church and into our world, where the privileged graces of the Eucharist are so needed. After the outdoor Benediction, we will return to the church, still in procession, and conclude with a second Benediction before reposing the Blessed Sacrament in the tabernacle. Please join us. Bring your children to introduce them to this beloved form of worship: Sunday, June 11, 2023, 12:30 p.m. Mass & Procession.
